Josh Taylor, World Champion boxer

This diptych portrait of World Champion boxer Josh Taylor, created by broad daylight, was purchased by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and is now being exhibited in The Modern Portrait exhibition alongside two of our other portraits.

We made both images of Josh at Lochend Boxing Club in Edinburgh, where Josh received his first training from the club's founder, Terry McCormack.

The Proclaimers / The National Galleries of Scotland - copyright broad daylight

Our portait of The Proclaimers was used in a lightshow celebrating The National Galleries of Scotlands birthday in March 2025. The NGS selected twenty nine artworks from it's vast collection for the event. We, broad daylight, were showcased alongside the likes of Van Gogh, Picasso, Sir Henry Raeburn and Ken Currie... how chuffed were we to be is such incredible company!!!
